Time Qualifiers: Runners who’ve met the age-graded qualifying standards or are eligible for the event’s American Development Program.
Legacy Finishers: Persistent marathoners who have crossed the Chicago Marathon finish line five or more times in the past decade.
Registered Participants: If you had to cancel your 2023 entry, you might now be eligible for guaranteed entry.
Charity Participants: Runners committed to raising money for an official charity through the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Charity Program.

If the registration deadline slips through your fingers, here’s how to still snag a spot:
Charity Participation: Register to run for a charity between November 17, 2023, and September 12, 2024. Just make sure to fundraiser at least $1,750. Although individual charity requirements may differ, you must raise a minimum of $1,250 if your entry is confirmed before November 16.
Official Bank of America Chicago Marathon International Tour Program: This program offers guaranteed entry even past the November 16 deadline! It simplifies the experience for traveling runners. Keep an eye out for ITP information – applications are open until August 13, 2024.
